We use information to operate the design studio; create and save designs; provide customer accounts and order history; produce proofs and artwork; process, fulfill, and support orders; prevent misuse; maintain security; comply with legal and accounting obligations; and improve the service.

We send newsletters and promotions only when you make that separate choice in the footer signup form or your account. Placing an order does not automatically subscribe you. You can change the choice in your account or unsubscribe from any marketing email. Transactional messages about sign-in, orders, support, and security may still be sent when needed.

If you ask us to save your designs for later, we email a private link that works for 30 days. The link opens those designs on any device; anyone with the link can access them. We store the saved design choices and protected artwork references to provide this feature. Requesting a saved-design link does not subscribe you to marketing.

We also measure anonymous visits through the designer: steps reached, generation requests and outcomes, errors, saved-link requests, and checkout handoffs. A random tab identifier starts a new visit after 30 minutes of inactivity. We record a broad device category, referral source, and approximate country and state or region provided by our hosting network. We link generation-job identifiers to these visits to detect interrupted results. This measurement does not store raw IP addresses, precise location, gender, design wording, uploaded images, names, or email addresses. Visit details expire after 90 days of inactivity.

We use anonymous counts to understand how often browsers visit our public pages and return on the same day. A random browser identifier is saved in local storage and replaced on the next visit on a new Mountain Time calendar day. It is not connected to your account, email, IP address, artwork, or activity on other websites. We count a new visit after 30 minutes away and measure active time using a separate random tab identifier. Admin and account pages are excluded from this measurement.

Blocking or clearing browser storage can limit this measurement. These statistics estimate browsers rather than identify individual people. We also use our hosting provider’s web analytics for aggregate page-view and daily visitor estimates.

If you choose to submit a review, we store it with your account and your permission to publish it. Your public name, rating, review, and approved photo or video may appear on our website. Your account email address is not published. Reviews, photos, and videos are checked separately before publication; media stays private until both it and its review are approved. We remove embedded metadata when preparing photos and videos, but information visible or audible in your content remains. Share only content you own and have permission to publish, including permission from anyone shown or heard. Contact us to request a change or removal.

After an eligible purchase, Google Customer Reviews may display an optional survey invitation on the order-confirmation page. To provide that invitation, we share the order number, order-confirmation email address, delivery country, and estimated delivery date with Google. If you opt in, Google may email the survey after the expected delivery date and may use your response to calculate Mahj My Mat’s store rating.

Google and other service providers may place or read cookies, or use web beacons and similar technologies, to operate their services. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some site features. Google handles information it receives under its own privacy policy.

When you request generated artwork, your design selections and the content needed for that request may be sent to an AI service provider. For a center-image design, AI receives a smaller visual reference only to coordinate the surrounding mat; the original upload is stored separately and remains the production source. For a custom lamp, AI receives reference strips prepared from the uploaded mat’s outer edges so it can create the approved upright wrap without using the center play area. Uploaded images may also be handled by storage, production, and fulfillment providers when necessary to complete your request. Do not upload sensitive information or content you do not have permission to use.

Gallery sharing is optional and private by default. A customer design is eligible for the public gallery only when the customer requests sharing and completes the associated purchase. Public previews are watermarked and do not display customer contact, payment, or delivery information.

We may share the minimum information needed with service providers that support hosting, database storage, security, AI generation, payments, email, analytics, printing, fulfillment, shipping, professional advice, or legal compliance. We may also disclose information in a business transfer or when required to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

We do not sell personal information for money. If our use of advertising or analytics changes in a way that creates additional opt-out rights, we will update this notice and provide the required choice before that use begins.

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order support, financial records, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Retention varies by record type. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied privacy request. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sale, targeted-advertising, or profiling activities. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and authorized agents may be asked for proof of authority.

You can update saved contact and delivery details and your promotional-email choice in your account. Complete card numbers and card security codes are handled by our secure payment processor rather than stored by Mahj My Mat.
